A veteran of Wall Street, he founded two non-profit and six for-profit companies. His experience includes designing and organizing companies, business/technology management, team building, strategic alliances, negotiating complex arrangements, governance & compliance, resourcing & financing, mergers & acquisitions, management/team/board assessment, coaching and strategic and tactical planning and implementation. Dr. Smith provides advisory services to CEOs, board members and stakeholders. He is the author of a number of books including the CEO’s Handbook series and Leadership.
Sam Malhotra is a veteran executive with proven IT industry vision and extensive business management experience. Michael Tinsley, President, NeoSystems – Michael is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of NeoSystems Corp., a Managed Services Provider that delivers comprehensive, on-site, business accounting services to government contractors. Michael founded NeoSystems in 2000 after 20 years of industry experience that gave him a vision for providing quality, efficient, and innovative accounting services. Under Michael’s leadership, the Tysons Corner-based firm serves more than 50 clients and employs approximately 100 professionals, who often manage the majority of a client’s accounting and financial work. Michael’s career includes extensive financial and administrative management experience with high-growth companies and government contractors. Before establishing NeoSystems, he served as Vice President of Finance and Administration with Broadsoft, a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions provider. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for Scientific Research Corporation, a research and engineering firm specializing in defense communications systems. He also held senior positions with Digital Lightwave, Inc., and BTG, Inc. In addition, he owned and managed a private accounting practice and began his career at Price Waterhouse.
Brig Tison is a founding principal of Williams Tison. He brings energy, enthusiasm, business maturity and more than 18 years of Executive Sales experience to Williams Tison. A native of the Savannah, Georgia area, he holds a BS Degree in Marketing from Western Carolina University. Brig has had a flourishing career in Sales, Recruiting, Training and Development of many successful Sales Representatives across the United States. He held positions in Sales, Sales Management and District Management with Lanier Worldwide in Savannah, Georgia, Denver, Colorado, and Tallahassee, Florida. Brig opened Lanier’s Richmond, Virginia office taking it from a start-up to over $10 Million in sales, in a six year period and twice winning Lanier’s District Manager of the Year Award in the United States. His next assignment was as Regional Director of Parametric Technology (a leader in Product Lifecycle Management / PLM Solutions). He headed the Washington, DC — Mid-Atlantic Region. Brig lives with his wife and three children in Vienna, Virginia.

Adam J. August, Holland & Knight practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, commercial transactions, general corporate law and business bankruptcy. Jay Jones is the Vice President of Siemens Enterprise Communications (SEN) North America Public Sector Solutions with responsibility for, and involvement, in the strategic identification and winning business with Public Sector clients domestically. He is also the strategic business adviser to the corporate executive leadership on Global Public Sector clients. Prior to joining Siemens in 2010, Mr. Jones worked for BearingPoint, a global strategic consulting firm, as Sr. Vice President Global Public Services Sales where he was responsible for and involved in the strategic identification and winning business with Public Services clients domestically. He was also the strategic business adviser to the corporate executive leadership on Public Services clients. Prior to joining BearingPoint, Mr. Jones worked for OAO Corporation, a national systems integrator firm, as Vice President, Enterprise Solutions and Worldwide Business Development. He was responsible for the development of critical corporate relationships strategic to corporate development and engineering corporate growth through the development of executable sales and marketing strategies. He identified, developed and managed strategic business partnerships with federal government customers, executive vendor relationship management, and lead vendor negotiator. Raymond Williams is a proven growth engine with over 15 years of successful leadership experience in sales, operations, strategy, corporate development and restructuring of public and private companies. Ray is Executive Vice President for SE Solutions where he is responsible for P&L, growth and strategy. Prior to SE Solutions, Ray was Director, Army Programs for Harris IT Services where he doubled the business three years in a row. He brings hands-on service delivery experience in early-stage Federal IT services, telecommunications and high-technology companies, as well as executive management and governance experience within both Private Equity backed businesses and global, publicly traded companies.
